04:00pm: Mohd Annuar tells court that about 9am on July 16, he saw a bag belonging to Teoh next to a sofa near fellow MACC officer Mohd Nadzri's room. Mohd Nadzri had recorded Teoh's statement about 2am on July 16.
03:08pm: Sixteenth witness Mohd Anuar Ismail, investigating officer from MACC office, is recalled to take the stand.
03:05pm: Coroner says he will rule later whether the letter should be marked as exhibit given there is evidence showing letter is relevant to inquest.
03:00pm: Gobind Singh argued that the explanations on the findings of the investigations on the letter should have been done by investigating officer and not Tan.
02:50pm: Tan Hock Chuan tells Coroner that police had carried out investigation on the poison pen letter implicating certain people in the death of Teoh. Tan said the police did not find any statements supporting the allegations mentioned in the letter.
02:30pm: Coroner's court meets. Teoh's family is in the court room.
SHAH ALAM: The Coroner’s Court meets Monday afternoon in day 12 of the inquest into the death of Teoh Beng Hock.
On July 15, Teoh was taken in for questioning by the MACC as a witness in its investigation into the alleged abuse of constituency funds by certain elected representatives in the state.
Teoh, 30, was the political secretary of state executive councillor Ean Yong Hian Wah.
Teoh’s body was found the next day on the fifth floor of the Plaza Masalam building the next day. The MACC has its office on the 14th floor of the building.
The Cabinet agreed to the inquest into the death after a public outcry.
The Coroner is Azmil Mustapha Abas.
Tan Hock Chuan, lawyer appointed by the Government to assist the Coroner.
